I finished a segment of this storyboard project and decided to take a break and just draw stuff for me for the week. One of those was this. Not quite what I imagined in my head when I had the original idea to do this piece, but I think it's still pretty adorable. My D&D OC's (I guess I can use that term now). It's Baby Milo (my half-elven Wizard, who is a teenager in the current campaign he's in.... you know the more I think about it, given his size, he's more like a toddler in this piece) being read a bedtime story by his mother, Margaret. He's also got his stuffed Winter Wolf toy named Aster with him. Also, for those who care and keep notes, you'll notice he doesn't have glasses yet. He has yet to be inspired to study magic and read A LOT of books. As a result of this extensive reading, while he can read books and see people right in front of him with no problem, his vision further out is not as good. Thus, prompting the need for glasses.
Again, nobody prompted this, I just felt like doing it. And it felt good.
… Let's hope Milo's mom survives the campaign.
